About
ANANTA City Intel is an independent, unofficial pre-launch field guide for ANANTA, the urban open-world action game by NetEase Games / Naked Rain. It is run by a small editorial desk, not by the developer or publisher, and it has no affiliation with either.
What this site is for
ANANTA has not launched. That single fact shapes everything here: there are no final damage numbers, no launch balance and no progression rules to report, so a site that pretends otherwise is inventing them. What does exist is official material, hands-on demo footage and developer interviews — and a set of decisions players will actually have to make on day one.
So this desk publishes decision frameworks rather than statistics: how to choose between street, transit and rooftop routing; what order to read a fight in; which city role fits which objective; and what is genuinely confirmed about the release. Those stay useful after balance changes, precisely because they do not depend on numbers that do not exist yet.
The evidence labels
Every claim on this site carries one of four labels, and we keep them separate on purpose. Most bad pre-launch information is not a lie — it is an inference that lost its label somewhere along the way.
- Official material — stated or shown in the official ANANTA site, gameplay briefings or published press assets.
- Hands-on observation — seen in TGS media playtests. Real, but a build from a point in time, not a promise.
- Developer interview — a stated intention. The most likely category to be overturned before launch.
- Pending / unknown — not announced. Left as unknown rather than filled in.
Rules we hold ourselves to
- No tier list before the rules exist. Damage values, enemy behaviour and progression are all unreleased, so there is nothing to rank against. Any pre-launch ANANTA tier list — including one we could easily publish for traffic — would be fabricated.
- Missing numbers stay missing. When official material does not give a value, we do not estimate one and we do not reword the sentence to hide the gap. Both are ways of turning a guess into an apparent fact.
- Platform evidence is never converted into a date. A store listing or a rating-board entry shows progress, not a release date. That conversion step is how most wrong launch dates spread.
- Every page shows when it was last checked. The date in the bar at the top of each page and the
dateModifiedin its structured data come from the same constant, so they cannot drift apart. - Stale claims move to watch, not to the bin. Deleting an outdated claim silently destroys the difference between "this was true and changed" and "this was always wrong".
What this site is not
It is not official, not endorsed, and not a source of leaks. Character names and portraits are archived from publicly published official material and remain the property of NetEase Games / Naked Rain; the role labels attached to them here are our own navigation shorthand until final in-game terminology is confirmed. Community claims are excluded unless independently confirmed.
Corrections
Corrections take priority over everything else here. If a date, a claim or an evidence label on any page is wrong, write toinhobok168888@gmail.com with the page link and, if you have it, where the correct value comes from. See thecontact page for what else is useful to send.
